Overview: Makomborero seeks to identify suitable candidates capable of university entrance to some of the more competitive degree courses. In 2017 it will be offering up to eight full scholarships to study A-levels at an excellent Harare based private school and thus provide the chosen students with the resources to achieve their goals where they may have fallen short through financial hardship and/or not having access to well-resourced A-level facilities in their current schools. As part of the scholarship scheme the students will be expected to assist with the on going community work in local Government schools. Schools offering scholarships are Hellenic Academy, St Georges College and Gateway High School.
